14 Jan: Home-based Healthcare – Progress and Success!
We are currently celebrating the amazing achievement of our two most recently qualified home-based healthcare (HBC) group. Each of the thirty course participants has been training hard and they have all passed the exam and received the government-awarded qualification.
08 Nov: New Vacancy – Voluntary Project Coordinator
The Voluntary Project Coordinator works alongside our local staff in Malawi, supervising the volunteers and with responsibilities that include assisting with planning and reporting on projects, administration, organisation of the NGOs activities and programmes, accounting and online marketing.  It is hard work and not just a holiday, but for the right person who is motivated, organised, positive and energetic also a very rewarding personal experience.
09 Dec: Computer Education in Malawi – Teach the Teachers

Our ‘Teach the Teachers’ computers initiative has seen some great progress over the last year. Our volunteers have been teaching basic computer skills to teachers, which has also given them ability to access diverse and up to date information via the internet. This both enhances their teaching and enables the teachers to share ideas and resources with each other.

18 Mar: Volunteers to give the gift of light

Naturally Africa Foundation (NAF) is continuing its great charity work in Malawi with the launch of their latest solar light project. Recently purchasing Sun King Eco solar lights, 1350 homes in disadvantaged Malawian communities will literally ‘see’ the benefits in the coming months.

Malawi’s rainy season arrives in December and continues through until March. It is usually brings fairly heavy but predictable rainfall which is relied upon for the growth of crops which then sustains the population throughout the dry months.
