Our new medical volunteers have just started their second week with us here in Nkope! They had a fantastic first week and will continue providing crucial support to our home based care groups, basic wound clinics, and HIV awareness sessions.

We are currently celebrating the amazing achievement of our two most recently qualified home-based healthcare (HBC) group. Each of the thirty course participants has been training hard and they have all passed the exam and received the government-awarded qualification.
The Voluntary Project Coordinator works alongside our local staff in Malawi, supervising the volunteers and with responsibilities that include assisting with planning and reporting on projects, administration, organisation of the NGOs activities and programmes, accounting and online marketing. It is hard work and not just a holiday, but for the right person who is motivated, organised, positive and energetic also a very rewarding personal experience.
